RST Special Metal (Pty) Ltd ("RST") operates furnaces that process industrial waste material into various metal products that can be re-used in the manufacturing process including chrome and other non-ferrous metals.
Platinum Group Metals
Siyanda Bakgatla Platinum Mine (SBPM) is a rapidly growing, non-listed black-owned emerging Platinum Group Metal (PGM) mining and processing business.
Smelting
The strategic imperative of the chrome division is to be the leader in UG2 chrome extraction through the processing and production of low-cost chrome from UG Tailings source.
Energy
In 2012 Power Alt reached a milestone to become one of the first gas Independent Power Producers to connect and sell power to the SA state utility; Eskom.
